Photo taken in Herb Garden at the U.S. National Arboretum, USA. This is quite a stunning little flower. The coloring and shape is just so wonderful. It’s so small and so perfect. Even the leaves are wonderful. The color is so deep and rich. Look at the tiny burgundy colored buds around the flower. It’s just so fantastic. It’s necessary to click on the image to enlarge so you can really see the detail on this one. I’m really, really thrilled with this photo.

I simply love this enhanced version of a photo I took yesterday at the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum. This one is made of three different types of trees. Very lovely.
